This course will present the theoretical and practical basis for the integration of meditation in the treatment of persistent pain. An overview of the various types of meditation and their scientific validity will be discussed. It will provide a more in-depth understanding of mindfulness meditation and Dhyana, meditation in the yogic tradition. Through clinical examples, tools will be presented and practiced to illustrate concrete clinical applications of meditation for the management of persistent pain.
Practical tools useful for both therapist and patient 😉
I loved the instructor (whom I first met in my UASD or PPAS course). I would have liked to do this course in practice too, for the practical part with a group. However, as I live in Abitibi, the online formula suits me enormously 🙂 Thank you for offering quality online courses, it’s much appreciated! Bravo to Emmanuelle for the relevance of this course, its clinical applicability and the quality of the teaching offered 🙂
Good basic course in global pain management with meditation and its various approaches. Appreciation of the practical parts ++. Great appreciation of the instructor with her very appropriate voice for this course! Thank you for your knowledge and interest in the whole person and holistic approach to health care and its teachings!
