Joachim Van Cant is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Motor Sciences of the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium. He obtained a Master’s degree in physiotherapy in 2002, a complementary Master’s degree in Sports Physiotherapy in 2003, and a PhD in Motor Sciences in 2016. He teaches students in physiotherapy, motor science and sports medicine. His research areas are primarily clinical and are focused on sports pathologies of the lower extremity and in particular on patellofemoral pain. He has published more than 20 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Biography

Joachim Van Cant is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Motor Sciences of the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium. He obtained a Master’s degree in physiotherapy in 2002, a complementary Master’s degree in Sports Physiotherapy in 2003, and a PhD in Motor Sciences in 2016. Dr Van Cant teaches students in physical therapy, motor science and sports medicine. He has published more than 20 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals.
