The networking event between 27 graduates and employers will take place virtually, on a Saturday during the day, on May 4, 2024 from 9am.

WHAT IS MAITRISE TON AVENIR?

Maitrise ton Avenir is a networking event organized by Bia courses and graduates in rehabilitation, offering employers and graduates the opportunity to meet and discuss job offers. The event has been running for 7 years in Quebec City, 4 years in Montreal and 4 years in Chicoutimi. We’re back for a 5th year at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi.

How the virtual day unfolds

The meetings, of the “mini-interview” type, will all be individual, lasting 15 minutes with each graduate, via the Zoom platform.

PHYSIOTHERAPY EMPLOYERS

Would you like to add a physiotherapist to your team?

We’re offering you the opportunity to meet UQAC’s physiotherapy graduates, who will be graduating in December 2024. Once you’ve registered, your company will be included in our list, which will be shared with the graduates through the groups. The earlier you register, the better visibility you’ll have with them!

In order to meet the graduating physiotherapists, you must purchase the “Parcours Physiothérapie” at the rate of $345. This fee includes:

• Access to a full day of virtual networking
• Post your job offer
• Contact information for physiotherapy graduates

PROGRAMS AND SCHEDULES

Guide: The partners’ guide will be given to graduates 18 days before the event, so that they can consult your job offer. Graduates register at your booth.

Schedule for the day: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Graduates choose the partners they want to meet: this has been a request from graduates for several years. Graduates who come to meet you are REALLY interested, because they will have seen your job offer in advance. So it’s to your advantage to prepare a tempting job offer!

With the online event, the number of graduates you’ll meet is unpredictable, because it’s the graduates who register at your booth. Registration for your booth will open 2 weeks before the event.

Elements put in place to encourage as many meetings with graduates as possible:

• Reduced-cost access for graduates
• Individual meetings

A few days before the event, you’ll receive your individual schedule and the graduates’ guide.

Please have your job offer ready in PDF format. It will be requested before the event, so that students can consult it in advance and prepare their questions accordingly!

• You meet graduates who really want to work for you.
• You will meet with graduates individually for 15 minutes.
• You must prepare a job offer in PDF format.
• You will receive a more complete description of all participating graduates with their contact information prior to your meeting.

UNIVERSITÉ DU QUÉBEC À CHICOUTIMI PHYSIOTHERAPY GRADUATES

Even if you are part of the Facebook group, you must register by adding the “Physiotherapy Graduates” ticket to reserve your place.

The logistics are still to come, and everything will be communicated to you via the MTA-Chicoutimi Facebook Group, along with the date from which you can register.
