Dr Michael O’Brien is a clinical researcher who has recently completed his Ph.D. thesis investigating impairments and outcomes in adults with hip dysplasia. He has been a physiotherapist for over 15 years and works clinically at Melbourne Orthopaedic Group alongside leading orthopaedic surgeons and sports physicians. His current caseload is predominantly patients with hip and/or groin problems. Prior to research, Dr O’Brien worked extensively in elite sport/football.
