Summary
This course with Dr. Ouellet will allow you to put your differential Dx skills to the test as 1st line professionals who may often encounter children and adolescents presenting with MSK symptoms.
Indeed, each traumatic and non-traumatic pathology will first be presented to you in the form of a case history, and your knowledge will be tested live via a simultaneous quiz application. For each pathology, you will be presented with the clinical presentation, recommended management and evolution according to scientific evidence. Some more medical aspects and red flags not to be missed will also be covered to deepen your knowledge.
Objectives
- Identify the main musculoskeletal conditions that can affect a young athlete’s performance;
- Recommend an appropriate evidence-based radiological investigation and treatment plan treatment plan;
- Identify patients requiring referral.
