Summary
Dr Michael O’Brien is a clinical researcher who has recently completed his PhD thesis investigating impairments and outcomes in adults with hip dysplasia. Hip dysplasia is present in up to one third of people with hip pain but is notoriously misdiagnosed and mismanaged. In this session he will present an overview on the types, risk factors, and common presentations for adult hip dysplasia. He will then provide tips & tricks for assessment and management tips, that can be implemented into clinical practice immediately.
