Geneviève is a nutritionist-dietitian in Quebec City with the ÉquipeNutrition network and a member of the OPDQ. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and a master’s degree in nutrition from Université Laval. Her graduate studies on obesity and metabolism allowed her to acquire an in-depth knowledge on obesity, including bariatric surgery and metabolic diseases (type II diabetes, dyslipidemia, renal failure, cardiovascular diseases) as well as menopause. During her studies, she was able to participate in prospective and retrospective clinical studies on bariatric surgery, which allowed her to acquire knowledge in this field and to become familiar with this population.

She also had the opportunity to participate and attend numerous conferences on bariatric surgery and obesity. Pursuing the goal of evidence-based practice, Geneviève does not hesitate to update her knowledge, which she integrates on a daily basis in her private practice.
