We led an international group of physiotherapists and physicians to develop a clinical practice guideline (CPG) on the assessment, non-surgical medical management, and rehabilitation of adults with rotator cuff tendinopathy. This webinar aims to present the recommendations from this CPG. Topics will include the evaluation of adults with shoulder pain suggestive of rotator cuff tendinopathy, with recommendations on the use of medical imaging and the identification of red and yellow flags. The session will also cover non-surgical medical interventions, such as oral and topical NSAIDs, corticosteroid and PRP injections, as well as the use of opioids. Finally, rehabilitation strategies will be presented, including exercise, manual therapy, taping, electrotherapy, ergonomic adaptations, and patient education. By promoting the dissemination and implementation of these CPG recommendations, this webinar aims to optimize quality of care and improve clinical outcomes in adults with rotator cuff tendinopathy.
Replay will be available for members only or for purchased ($) by non-members. Stay informed!
