Summary

Nowadays, weightlifting movements are more and more practiced, both by recreational trainers and by competitive athletes. Although these movements are excellent for improving certain physical qualities, they can cause injuries if they are poorly executed or if they are applied without the proper parameters. In this course, Christian Thibaudeau, one of the most recognized coaches in the world, will review the Olympic lifts, but will also show us how to introduce them to beginners.

Objectives

  1. Understand the possible applications of weightlifting movements.
  2. Integrate the principles of weightlifting-based training.
  3. Understand and discuss an effective learning model for weightlifting.
