The work of the cardiovascular component is essential for performance in team sports. However, the training methods used are often poorly adapted or simply left in the hands of practitioners.
The purpose of this course is to explain how it is possible to integrate sport-specific cardiovascular stimulation at the right time in an annual preparation. The principles of interval training (HIIT) and continuous training will be developed according to several types of activities (running, cycling, and others). Finally, you will see how it is possible to individualize cardiovascular work in relation to the capacities of individuals, even in a team training context.
Following this course, you will be able to choose the right aerobic activities for the participants you supervise based on their sport, their training expertise, and the time of the season.
