Whether it’s due to a persistent injury, a concussion, a car accident, a work stoppage, or a poor performance in a competition, our patients may face stressful situations that can hinder their rehabilitation or the achievement of their personal or sports goals.
As healthcare professionals, we must be aware of these stressful life situations in order to provide effective support to our patients. Jean-Michel Pelletier, Sports Psychologist, now specializes in the impact of psychological micro-traumas on the return to function. In this course, he will teach you how to provide appropriate intervention, enabling you to better assist your patients and accelerate their progress.

- How can we assist our patients following a traumatic situation?

- Understanding stress and anxiety better
- Developing tools for an anxious or stressed client
- Presentation of case studies (concussion, car accident, chronic injuries in athletes)
